Network Plus – We are winter resilient!

Cadent support during winter storms

We work closely with our clients to prepare winter resilience plans. Careful planning paid off recently, when we supported Cadent over a 4 day period up to Christmas Eve. Working alongside Cadent resources, we deployed additional engineers and teams from across the country to work in the London area. In total, we mobilised 27 teams in less than 10 hours to provide extra cover. Stuart Fraser, Chief Executive said “this shows that we can provide a fast, flexible service to clients, working collaboratively to support them when they need it most”.

SGN Winter resilience planning

During recent winter storms, we mobilised 4 engineers to support Scotia Gas Networks over 3 days in the Falkirk area of Scotland. We assisted SGN with an emergency district governor failure. We received a thank you note from the SGN Chief Executive who praised the engineers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Our Northern Area Operations Manager congratulated the engineers Tom, Mason, Stephen and Franz in person for their great effort and support to SGN.
