Major contract extension with United Utilities

We are pleased to announce that our water network repair and maintenance contract with United Utilities has been extended until 2029. The scope of this agreement includes the provision of planned and reactive services on a 24/7 basis.
The award gives us the opportunity to continue supporting the delivery of our client’s customer commitments, which are focused on achieving a stronger, greener and healthier North West. These works span the entire United Utilities region and includes Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and most of Cheshire.

We have worked collaboratively with United Utilities since 2000. We are now thrilled to share the challenge of completing the remainder of AMP 7 and being a key contributor to achieving the outcomes required in AMP 8.

The extension period ensures that we can maintain our investment in the development of innovative and customer focused solutions. Other benefits include the alignment with our objective to develop the next generation of water professionals. We have invested heavily in our younger workforce, ensuring a secure delivery for the future of our operations and safety standards.

We see this investment in training and development as essential to meet the challenges of new AMP periods. We will ensure that we have the necessary skills and capabilities within our business to outperform our clients’ requirements.
