Network Plus and United Utilities: A Relationship Built To Last

We are thrilled to announce our teams working on behalf of our client, United Utilities. received an award for their approach to Health & Safety. 

When the team found old electrical cables during a recent dig, they engaged with the client United Utilities to make them aware of this – before removing them. They called the electricity provider to ensure these lines were out of service. They were told the lines would most likely be dead, but they pushed for them to be tested.

They received an award from UU for their thorough approach to this issue, putting people’s safety first rather than the timescales.

We have been a Tier 1 contractor with United Utilities of the past 8 years – starting with Developer Services in 2015 and securing the Network Maintenance Services contract in 2018, which commenced in 2019 for both core and non-core. 

This award further strengthens our long-lasting relationship with our client.
