The Network Plus Group has officially achieved PAS 2080 certification, a significant milestone made possible through the dedication of their team and their partnership with carbon specialists Auditel.

The Network Plus Group consists of their team and their partnership with carbon specialists Auditel.

Network Plus is a leading utility and infrastructure service provider. The business offers a full range of proactive and reactive services across the water, wasterwater, gas, power and telecoms sectors.

Go Traffic Management is one of the Uk’s leading traffic management providers, offering bespoke and fully managed traffic management solutions across both low and high speed road networks.

Littlewood Group offer specialist services in all types of barriers and security fencing, from design and installation through to maintenance and support.

The Network Plus Group is committed to achieving net zero by 2050, in line with the Uk target. This ambition demands collaboration across the value chain and a whole-life carbon perspective on their operations. Securing PAS 2080 certification marks a crucial step, giving them the insight and oversight needed to progress toward their net zero goal.

Jon Hobden, Managing Director for Littlewood, comments, “In achieving PAS 2080 certification we are one of the first to do so in our sector, we feel its important to be leading the way in carbon reduction.”

To achieve PAS 2080 certification, the Network Plus Group partnered with carbon specialists Andrew Buxton and Richard Smith from Auditel. Auditel led targeted workshops, providing clarity on certification requirements and helping the team understand their position with the value chain to identify applicable clauses.

From theses sessions, Auditel developed a detailed gap analysis and played a pivotal role in bridging those gaps, supporting Network Plys throughout the audit process at every stage. Jon Hobden, Managing Director for Littlewood, comments, “Auditel were a great help in guiding us through the process, helping us shape our business for fulfil the requirements to achieve PAS 2080 certification.”

The Network Plus Group reports their carbon emissions annually and has tracked Scope 1, 2 and 3 for years. With Science-Based Targets Validated earlier this year, achieving PAS 2080 marks a major step in embedding carbon management into their operations and supply chain, building a whole-life view of their environmental impact.

Jon Hobden, continues, “We all need to play our part in Carbon reduction and have a responsibility to shape our business in a way that will help us become Carbon Neutral or better, alongside satisfying the demands of our stakeholders.”

PAS 2080 is increasingly recommended in the highways sector, a space the Network Plus Group expanded into with last year’s acquisition of Littlewood. It’s also becoming the benchmark for building carbon management systems across the utilities industry.

Beyond sector expectations, clients who have achieved PAS 2080 are encouraging their value chains to follow suit. Network Plus recognises that certification is key to future opportunities as the industry moves proactively toward a greener future for employees, operations, and the communities it serves.

“Achieving PAS2080 accreditation reflects our unwavering commitment to sustainability and carbon reduction. As a business we understand the role we play in reducing carbon emissions and the need for collaboration.”

Victoria Grayson, Director of The Network Plus Group
