Supporting charities

raised over $50k in 2020 for charity

The team at Network Plus are delighted to have raised over £50,000 during 2020 in support of our three company nominated charities. We support the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), Macmillan Cancer Support and the Toy Appeal.

It has been fantastic to see the effort and support from our employees across the UK, at our local depots, taking part in many charity events. Engagement activities include Macmillan Coffee morning, wear green for St Patricks Day and dress down days.

Through our partnership with CAFT, Network Plus have helped the charity provide vital support for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children. Most recently we took part in their annual Santa Dash and a virtual social event ‘Christmas Night In’, which we also sponsored. Employees have also kindly volunteered their time to support the running of Christmas visits to CAFT by over 200 families in 2020. CAFT provides free residential holidays and fun day trips to terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children.

At the start of the year, Network Plus and our sister business, Go Traffic Management entered a three-year partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. Together, we have committed to raise funds for the charity through a range of activities and employee engagement. Macmillan Cancer Support provide a wide range of services. They aim to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support.

Each year Network Plus donates financial support and resources for the annual Christmas Toy Appeal. This year, we donated funds, provided employee manpower, storage facilities and logistics support.

As a responsible employer we value the ability we have to make a positive impact in the communities where we work. These charities are close to our heart and we are pleased to have assisted this year and look forward to continuing to do so in 2021.
