Over the weekend, Network Plus teams responded rapidly as Storm Goretti brought severe weather and widespread disruption across the West Midlands and South West.

Working in challenging conditions, around 100 Network Plus linespeople supported National Grid Electricity Distribution on fault restoration works across both licence areas, helping restore essential power supplies to affected communities.

Since the storm hit, more than 140,000 properties across the South West, Midlands, and South Wales have had power successfully restored, demonstrating the scale and effectiveness of the collaborative response.

We are incredibly proud of our teams for their professionalism, resilience, and teamwork, working safely in difficult conditions to support communities when they need it most.
