Network Plus has been appointed to National Grid’s new, multi-million pounds power cable framework, strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two businesses and reinforcing the company’s reputation as a trusted delivery partner for critical UK infrastructure projects.

The framework, which will run for up to two years, covers the delivery of 66kV and 132kV cable circuits, including cable installation, jointing, testing and commissioning. It has been established to support National Grid’s continued investment in strengthening the UK’s electricity network as demand grows and the transition to a low-carbon future accelerates.

Carl Dixon, Managing Director at Network Plus, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have secured this framework with National Grid. We’ve had the privilege of working with them for many years and this appointment reflects the trust we’ve built through consistently delivering high-quality projects. We look forward to building on our successful partnership and delivering these critical infrastructure projects in the coming years.”

Network Plus’s appointment follows another recent success with National Grid: the Truro 11kV Underground Cable Scheme, which will see two new underground cables installed between Shortlanesend Substation and the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
