We are thrilled to have been awarded a new contract for UK Power Networks’ RIIO-ED2 Distribution Network Projects and Programmes, building on the success of our ongoing storm response services and expanding our footprint with them.
Starting work 1 April 2023, this 5-year initial term contract will see our teams working across parts of the Chilterns, Borehamwood and the Bedford/Cambridge area. Network Plus will be responsible for distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling and substations on LV, 11kV, and 33kV networks.
Throughout this contract, we will be implementing our Apprentice Trainee and Graduate Programmes, as well as other upskilling opportunities through the Network Plus Academy, creating new jobs and career pathways wherever possible.
