Network Plus launches new business – Network Plus Multi Utility

network plus multi utility launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new business to the Network Plus Group – Network Plus Multi Utility.

The new business will support developers in the residential, industrial and commercial sectors, who want a well-coordinated approach to the design and operational works associated with the delivery of multi utility connections to their developments.

Network Plus Multi Utility will offer a comprehensive solution; to undertake the design and operational works associated with gas, water and electricity connections from start to finish; saving developers time and cost.  Single or multi-utility packages are available, tailored to clients’ requirements.

Network Plus Group business has seen massive growth in the last three years coupled with a 600 per cent increase in employment.  For 20 years we have been providing essential infrastructure maintenance, repair and installation services – such as underground cabling, pipelines and wastewater systems to blue chip organisations such as United Utilities, National Grid and Cadent.

The Group has a workforce of over 2500 resources, across 56 sites throughout the UK. The launch of its new Multi Utility business is expected to contribute significantly to the forecast of £210million in overall revenues by the end of this financial year.

At today’s launch, joint chief executive Stuart Fraser said: “In a nutshell, the Multi Utility company will coordinate the installation of utility services into one ‘bundle’ through a shared trench. It will provide clients with a fully co-ordinated approach to the design and delivery of multi utility connections to their sites.

“The new company will support property developers of all shapes and sizes, across the commercial and private residential spectrum. They will benefit from a comprehensive service;  from initial planning and design, through to final installation and commissioning.

“With the national property development market worth an estimated £1,662 billion and the construction of around 240,000 new homes every year, there is enormous scope to work with clients to help shape a new style of infrastructure for the future.

“We believe this fully integrated approach is what developers are looking for and we have invested in resources and technology to meet growing demand.”

The Multi Utility leadership team includes a wealth of experience. It will be led by John Walsh and Kristian Marsden, together with Operational Manager Andrew Baker and Commercial Manager, Rob Jackson. John Walsh adds: “This is a very exciting expansion of our business – creating a new service and closer ties between developers and utility providers. Whether you are a small or large scale developer we will remove the hassle with a complete end to end service, focussed on your requirements.

“We provide comprehensive connections services for water, gas, power and telecoms.”
