This is one of four new performance related contracts awarded by Cadent today, totalling around £300million over the initial five years, with a second five year term taking the total potential value for all four contracts to £600million.
The scope of works will include:
- Gas mains replacement

The contract commences April 2021 and is built on a strong, collaborative focus; enabling investment in people, entrepreneurial thinking and local supply chain businesses; which will deliver employment opportunities.
The Construction Management Organisation model supports Cadent to deliver enhanced services to customers and reduce supply interruptions by maintaining, building and reinforcing the gas network. Network Plus will manage a number of Local Delivery Partners.
Network Plus Joint Chief Executive, Dan Holland commented: “This is a significant award for our business, we are determined to support Cadent to achieve high standards for their customers and build a strong relationship with Local Delivery Partners.”
The contract will be led by Victoria Grayson who has recently joined Network Plus following a long career in the utilities sector.
