Training Coordinator – Salford 


The Role

You will be responsible for the coordination, administration, monitoring and reporting of training across all parts of the business. You will liaise with our current Training Coordinator to produce an efficient & effective course schedule to maintain competence & compliance.

Main Duties

  • Maintain accurate training records within the Training Management System
  • Monitor training requirements considering sector, contract, client and internal requirements
  • Work closely with the relevant contract managers to maintain a commercially effective & efficient training schedule
  • Communicate course bookings in line with company policy & procedure to the relevant managers, planners and delegates
  • Liaise with line management & planners to ensure that training course bookings are communicated 
  • Maximise capacity and attendance where possible. Action cancellations and consider new starters and leavers 
  • Liaise with providers, supply chain & accounts department to ensure invoices are paid in line with payment terms
  • Track & record accurate training attendance to ensure that the training management system reflects compliance in real time
  • Ensure that qualifications are renewed prior to expiry

Experience and Qualifications

  • Computer Literate
  • MS Office proficiency including Outlook, Word & Excel – excel experience is essential
  • Co-ordination experience
  • Experience within the multi-utility industry preferred but not essential
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Confident telephone manner – ability to liaise with suppliers, clients & colleagues with tact
  • Attention to detail 
  • Good organisation and work prioritisation skills
  • Proactive in nature & shows initiative
  • Focused on achieving results & hitting deadlines
  • Ability to develop & maintain good working relationships with colleagues 
  • Display tact and discretion when working on confidential matters
  • Able to keep a cool head under pressure
  • Good time keeping and attendance
