Our Role

We currently have an excellent opportunity either for someone with a few years’ experience in the industry to take that next step into operations, or perhaps for a graduate or bright college leaver taking their first steps in the industry.

You will join as a Junior Site agent, where full training and support will be provided to enable you to develop into the position of a full site agent. Working across a range of projects for United Utilities, you will be expected to travel across the North West

Key Responsibilities

Working with experienced site supervisors / managers you will learn to hold the following responsibilities;

You will have operational supervisory responsibility for water repair and maintenance teams, and their daily activities

You will organise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages and absence management

You will manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant

You will ensure accurate information is captured of works undertaken, including photographs and meter asset details

You will regularly visit teams at local site level – reviewing progress and performance and ensuring standards are adhered to

You will carry out team briefings with teams on a monthly basis; coaching and developing repair and maintenance teams to reach their potential

You will complete Team Inspections ensuring a high level of Compliance with a real focus on quality and right first-time operational delivery

You will be a Health & Safety Representative; undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health and safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur

Experience and Qualifications

Excellent organisation and personal skills

An aptitude for self-development and learning

Driven and Motivated

Excellent communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence
