Our role

As an Estimator, you will be an incremental part of the Commercial Team; focused on driving efficiencies, managing costings and preparing the final bid for submission. This role will see you take control of all pre-contract costs of the project, overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired estimates utilising high standards of commercial acumen; whilst identifying, recording, and tracking both risks and opportunities. Projects will range anywhere between £30k to £3million across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

You will coordinate, compile and manage a portfolio of multi-utility tenders. for electric, gas, water, street lighting, fibre and vehicle charging for New Domestic and Industrial & Commercial projects

You will produce technically competent, financially viable and competitive multi-utility tender packages

You will liaise with internal and external departments throughout the tender process

You will work closely with our clients, building and maintaining relationships, throughout the tender process

You will utilise all available information and technical knowledge to prepare cost-effective, value-engineered, competent and compliant tender outline designs and quotations

You will specify the necessary materials and resources required to complete the design construction and installation of each project

You will attend site visits, site surveys and pre and post contract client meetings through to contract award
