Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. Our Role
As a R&M Operative/Team, you will be working on the Severn Trent Water Repair and Maintenance contract. Working to meet the needs of the client in the most cost-effective manner, whilst working with your team. You will provide technical expertise, experience, and work within a team to deliver a first-class service to our customers.
You will be competent on working in Water Networks. You will be able to engineer solutions on site and focus your teams on completing work right first time.
You will provide support to ensure that the company’s work is effectively completed through communication with internal and external customers, as well as the management of the business and client database systems.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to have good knowledge of site safety and site set ups with the public and team members welfare being essential
We are looking for someone who has knowledge and experience of Repair and Maintenance contracts
We are looking for someone to maintain a customer focus
We are looking for someone who has good timekeeping and good housekeeping with tools and equipment
We are looking for someone to use Modular Plus (smartphone system) to deliver all feedback for commercial and, where necessary, reinstatement feedback
We are looking for someone to liaise with the Support Services and Street works Team to ensure that FPN and Section74 liabilities are managed and focus on a right first-time attitude
We are looking for someone who can work flexible shift patterns as required.
Experience and Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in relation to the work being carried out i.e., NRWSA a
Good Health and safety knowledge IOSH beneficial (not essential)
Firm understanding of “right first time”
Excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Shea Water
EUSR Blue Card
Avoidance of underground utilities
